We offer classes for children and teens!
Fall Classes:
Join us in a fun, yet relevant fine art program! Each session lasts
6 weeks, 2 hours per class.
Students will begin with a clay project and proceed into learning
drawing, painting, printmaking and design. All supplies and clay
firing are included although if a student should prefer to work
in oils or desires specific brand name supplies, they will be asked
to bring them.
Teen and adult students are able to choose
their concentration. Tuition is $125 per session with a 10% discount
with multiple student enrollment or the same student taking consecutive

About the Instructor
Cynthia Golonka was a multiple award winning artist by the time
she graduated from high school. She earned her Visual Communication degree
at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with subsequent training in the Illustration
department of the now Texas A & M University. While working in Dallas,
TX as an illustrator and graphic designer, she taught at the Art
Institute of Dallas.
After moving to Wilmington in 1990, she began
selling her work at a local gallery and teaching at St.
Mary School. Soon this was followed by an enrichment program at The
Creative Resource which grew into the current Gallery @ Racine. While
teaching here, she has continued her studies with renowned artists and
enjoys continuing her journey in art.You will find her work in homes,
museums and corporate collections in the USA and China.
